Step 1: Go to the eVoting platform
This will take you to eVoting, the Union’s online election platform.
Step 2: Login
Once logged in, the landing page will appear with a link to all elections you are eligible to participate in.
If at this point you feel you are 'missing' an election please check the eligibility critera.
Step 3: Select an election
Once, selected a new page will appear with a series of headings relating to what actions you can perform as a candidate.
Step 4: Choose your position
Once selected, a box will appear below asking you to enter the College username of your seconder.
Step 5: Choose your seconder
A 'seconder' is another student who supports or endorses your nomination for a position. This must be a currentstudent at Imperial that you know personally.
Step 6: Read the Elections Declaration
Step 7: Submit your nomination
Once submitted, a blue banner will appear stating that ‘your request to stand has been accepted’.

A. Yes, you can withdraw from the election yourself at any time before voting opens. Follow these steps to withdraw your nomination.
